Giulia & Danny met in 2005 though it wasn’t until late 2017 that they put a ring on it after Danny surprised Giulia with a proposal while at a winery in the Yarra Valley. The wedding date was a moving target for a time until they suddenly decided to Just Do It and with the help of Giulia’s amazing sisters, Val and Jacqueline, arranged the whole thing in about 6 weeks!! Accompanied by a sometimes reluctant and most delightful flower girl and Val’s daughter Emmi, Giulia smiled her way through the entire ceremony at the Old Treasury Building, she looked so radiant and happy. Danny did NOT enjoy the official photo shoot though you can’t tell that by the photos can you? His inner suave-ness shines through!
A great part of the story is that this was a complete surprise to the guests who thought they were coming to an engagement party! They had no idea that Giulia and Danny had tied the knot that very afternoon! Isn’t that cool? AND just to make it even more awesome, they were announcing the impending arrival of their first baby! There were a lot of Oh My God’s and frenzied hugging! What a gorgeous night it was. The guests being shoulder to shoulder only made the atmosphere better, they danced and sang into the night…
