I’m standing in the ridiculously perfect afternoon sunlight of the Atherton Tablelands, the anticipation is building! It is a stunning part of North QLD and Lake Tinaroo Resort has a backdrop to die for. The scene is set for the star of the show.
Liz emerges to make her way towards the wedding site and the look on Code’s face is that gob smacked sorta one! She is gorgeous and oh so poised. These two were kids when they fell in love, they have gone onto to have 2 kids of their own and here they are, the ultimate commitment!

I first met Code when he was perhaps a month old! His mum and I have been mates forever. I’ve watched him go from a cute little kid to a handsome young man, seen the changes, the challenges, the good times. Through it all, he has never failed to demonstrate a calm determination that, while tested, has not wavered. He was always going to find an amazing woman to share his life with. They are a force to be reckoned with. This is just the beginning.
I am so very proud to have been part of your wedding Code & Liz. You are truly a remarkable young couple, who you are for your boys is going to ensure they have pretty damn amazing lives.
